Artisans have been laboring for several years to make the exquisitely beautiful ornamentation that adorns the temple building.  The ornamentation has been installed according to the shilpi shastras which are scriptures that dictate guidelines for hindu temple architecture. All the ornamentation is symbolic and installed in different areas purposefully and carries deep meaning. The design and fabrication of all the ornamentation for the temple was done by hand and remains unique to this temple. The hand cast and sculpted stonework takes years to complete. Sculpted carvings and relief work are located all around the temple building, both inside and outside.
